Trauma Drama

As the dog days of summer were dragging her

into some new unexpected territories,

she began to get a little antsy.

And that was not just because her room was filled with ants.

She began to come upon another slight detail

that was appearing quite vividly before her.

She was always this kind caring individual,

yet one of her key areas of lesson learning in this lifetime

was the part that required her to stop

self sacrificing.

And so here she was...

Smack dab in the middle of summer..

sweating her fake balls off...

Trying to maintain a strong demeanor...

Yet, deep inside her, she was crumbling...

She had moved to a new location.

It definitely wasn't a 'for sure'..

Not even a 'definite'.

and it was absolutely far from a 'not even'.

What was she talking about?

Her new living situation.

That's what!

The room she had found was so small, yet so

expensive, and when she tried to bring in

a helper, the case was denied.

She felt so at a loss.

Even though she was trying real hard

to make things work...

There was one small thing always missing.

Him.

Her Plutonic Twin seemed to always be there

 yet

 NOT THERE..

She really wanted the security of a man who could own

his part.

Not always up and leave as if time

was of the essence.

And even if time was something of

importance to him,

she really wished he would at least

communicate with her how much he enjoyed

their time together.

As well as give her a loving farewell kiss

treating her as if she was a beautiful rose

that could be dead by the time he reappeared.

But no.

It was always just cut and dry.

Very dry...

And this is where she realized it was not real.

It took two to make summer more then just dry.

The dog days of summer were about passion.

Not about burning out.

And she was getting pretty burnt out lately.

He wasn't adding any water to the fire to allow it

to sizzle..

And it seemed, that with her adding

both the water and the fire..

She really didn't have the space left to deal

with the ashes he was bringing to the table.

Lesson learned.

And so that night,

He went home.

And she watched a movie alone...

Until...

She felt a hand tap her shoulder.

She freaked out inside,

yet only turned and removed her headset

which was playing Spanish music very loudly.

There, next to her chair,

her plutonic twin knelt, looking up into her

 drunken blue eyes.

She lit up in not even a second after

seeing him.

"You came back!" she said with joy in her heart.

And she hugged him tightly.

Maybe she over reacted.

Maybe she was wrong to be so clingy and needy.

But she was definitely grateful to see him come back.

It showed her that there was hope.

That he was evolving in his own time,

and that she just needed to be a little

more patient.

Which was definitely not one of her

strongest qualities.
