Drifting Away...

 She was hearing the words,

"Emotionally unavailable"

One too many times. 

And from more then one human sources. 

If life really was a reflection... 

Then what exactly was this emotionally unavailable

situation really look like?

And just how was she doing it to herself? 

She realized that lately she had become too emotional.

And she was blaming herself for being such a sissy.

Yet, for some reason, 

her life seemed to be spiraling downward

no matter what she did. 

When she spoke with her sister, 

She saw another reflection. 

Somehow, once again, she had begun to push herself.

She was losing everything, yet, in the process,

still managed to push herself to do even more.

Why was she like this?

Why was it even wrong? 

She had been doing things like this all her life. 

She didn't know any different. 

And no one was telling her any different.

So she just figured she was in the right.

But then, why was she being punished?

This is the one part she didn't like, but accepted

cuz it happened always like clock work.

She was now so used to everything falling apart

that it became anxiety if it didn't happen fast enough.

She realized she was drowning herself again.

It was her escape.

As a Pisces fish, 

Drowning was never a thing. 

It was her life. 

She knew how to breathe it in.

But without it.. 

What would really happen?

That was yet to be discovered...
