The Loneliest Number

 It was one of those days 

Where she wasn't trying to see signs,

Yet many of them just kept 

Popping up in front of her. 

Like the Goose. 

Not geese...

Just one goose. 

Sitting there.

All alone.

Right there.

On the side of the sidewalk.

In the grass, (of course)

Just staring at her riding her bike past.

As with all animals she was first shocked! 

Then composed herself and said a

 "hey there!" Joyfully.

But most of the Joy was actually

Coming from shock and surprise

With a dab of fear,

Cuz yes,

 she feared all of nature's creatures. 

Then later in the day, 

As she sat watching her favorite

T.v. show, 

Three's Company,

A small yet quite larger than

A mosquito, insect came a buzzing up

To her.

He first came and kept humping her headset

Cord. 

Then started humping her back pack. 

Each time,

 she scolded him,

"Go on, get!"

Then, to her surprise, he came back with

Another! 

She couldn't believe it! 

He had brought his lover! 

And that's when it hit her.

Mother nature was trying to tell

Her something major important. 

Nature was pointing it out to her that

She needed to stop being alone. 

She needed another. 

Yet. 

Here she sat...

All alone. 

Watching Three's Company 

Something was off...

But what was she to do? 

And that's when a drop of rain landed

On her left arm. 

Venus. 

Where was her Venus connection? 

Was she able to reconnect to it? 

After all the trauma and disconnect?

Was she ever going to be able to reconnect

To her vision and values in order

To finally attract

A match? 

And even if she could, 

would she actually be able to follow through? 

Why was life so hard? 

Was it even worth tying? 

If only she had any energy left to find out.
