She walked into the restaurant...
and immediately the interior decorations caught her attention!
Like a child she looked around aimlessly in awe.
As she continued to look around her gaze met another gaze
that was looking directly back at her.
She walked up to him and asked if he worked there?
To which he replied, "No, I'm here picking up an order, like you."
She was took a drift...
"How'd you know I was picking up an order?" she questioned.
"I've seen you the other day."
"At the Chipotle"
"We were both there picking up an order."
"Oh," she said back with a shy smile.
As they waited for their orders to be ready...
He began to strike up a conversation with her.
They talked about simple things that really didn't matter,
yet the conversation was rolling really well.
All of a sudden, a waiter came out with his order,
and it seemed to bring up what felt as an abrupt halt for both of them.
The gentleman grabbed his order and walked out of the restaurant.
She began to look at her phone while waiting for her order
to be ready, when a vision popped into her forefront...
This guy was going to ask her for her number when
she walked outside...
Somehow she just had this knowing that it would come to be.
This vision that she saw.
After about 5minutes...
The waiter comes out with her order, and she takes it but prepares
herself for her departure...
She asks God to keep her safe and then walks out of the restaurant.
Not even 3 steps out the door, she sees a pair of headlights turn on.
She begins to walk towards her car and the car with the headlights
drives up next to the side walk.
It was restaurant guy.
He leans far over to the passenger seat and hollers out the window,
She smiled...
but not cause she found it attractive, cuz she didn't.
She actually thought it looked more like what dogs did...
And she believed it to be very disrespectful.
However, the main reason she was smiling was in fact because
she knew her vision in the restaurant was a prophecy.
She always had this sense of just knowing and seeing things.
But she never gave herself credit for it.
Until now.
Nevertheless, she goes over to the dog barking out the car window...
Oh oops...
She walks up to the car with the guy leaning over trying to deliver
a request and tries to downplay herself by asking,
"Did you need forget something?"
To which he smugly replied,
"Just wanted to ask if you wanted to maybe hang out?"
"Now?" She asked with a WTF Face cringe
and then lifted up the food in her hand
to remind him that they were still working.
And then it hit her...
He was a pig!
Perverted
Ignorant
Guy
She realized... First impression do count, but the real impression
comes after that fake first one.
He didn't stop though...
He continued to beg.
"Come on, let's ditch this and go have some fun."
She couldn't believe her ears...
She replied to him with a little reverse psychology technique...
"Are you asking me on a date?"
But she must have reversed back into the stone age cuz the guy could only
reply with, "What's a date?"
She wanted to Face Palm right then and there
but remembered the food
in her hand, which started to feel like a ton of bricks at that point.
She was beginning to feel all irritated at the situation...
The fact that she even allowed it to continue this long was beyond her.
He was being so clear and obvious.
She was disgusted.
She worked up the energy to tell him a date would be coffee and chit chat.
To which his only reply was, "Do you drink?"
She was done.
This guy was clearly only out to get one thing.
And she wasn't that.
She turned and walked away.
He followed her...
"I'm sorry." he says...
"That was rude, let me get your number please."
She really wasn't up for it, but out of politeness gave him the wrong number.
And then she returned to her car and continued to deliver her Door Dash
just like that.
